Three Months Into My Website’s Initial Creation

The Ditto Effect 2 is progressing nicely. I get about 100-200 visits a month. And what I was going to show you was how far you could get. For me it’s only been 3 months since Ditto Effect 2 got started. There’s something I can’t explain.

The traffic is mostly direct traffic, which is supposed to mean something like people are just typing in the url into a browser. This is the kind of traffic you get from giving out business cards. Which I didn’t do. And I can’t say what I did do because I don’t know.

Anyway the traffic amount is a good landmark. Without it we’ve got next to nothing driving our success. Which is not a big issue. I recommend hoping and wishing as your main strategy. jk.

This is the data for one month. I would likely update this picture when I can get 3 months of data so I’ve represented for what this post is supposed to be about.

Staying On Target

I made content for the first month then i decided to settle and have a wait for a bit. ChatGPT said to make about 30 content pages then wait 90 days to see how it ends up. I guess I waited 2 months because it took 1 month to come up with 30 and it’s been 2 more months since then.

I’d like to monetize within a year of starting probably. Which mostly only matters if I have an amount of traffic.

Making content and staying on track seems pretty easy. About two weeks ago I decided to apply for Adsense to monetize my website. I’m aiming for breaking even. I know with 200 visitors a month to a topic like I’ve chosen might get $50 to $200. Which would be great. It would help a lot.

If I can’t get into Adsense I might just try an alternative.

My goal is still to get to 100+ content pieces to see what it does. After this post I’m at 40 after the time I’ve had to be able to put into it I think I’ve been doing well.

Alternatives For Monetize

Starting and selling things like ebooks, pdfs, and ebook pdfs might be a goal for me. Something like a few $1 books and a few $3 books that should be easy to sell. Is sort of similar to a click on an ad.

I’d like to make ebooks and pdfs at a price of $20 (canadian) to see how well I can do in the long term. $20 may be too high a price for how little I want to create for (it’s basically premium content) access to my resource.

With $1 – $3 I can offer something useful for a price it would be worth.

I’d mostly be going for the data and statistics. To see what I can do. With a level difference from visitor experience and engagement. I could track success for what success should be. Click throughs and conversions.

I’d love to do Adsense because it would give me what I’m going for.

A Complete Resource

The goal is to at least come up with a selection of topics my audience can enjoy and to always keep making more content. I get more and more ideas instead of less the more I do.

Having about 40 content pages which I tried really hard on is satisfying. It would be more satisfying to have a greater depth of information and clicks where they gain. Conversions of any kind is excitement.

The idea is to build to the minimum I’d accept is good to share. Great stuff for me to let you see and get to know. I hope to be helpful and useful.

More Traffic Better Online Presence

Actually I might not need to ask for more if the result I’m getting is legitimate. I didn’t do anything I shouldn’t. But I’ve actually done a website which is comparable to what I’m doing now in terms of potential. I made $100 from 100 visits from only one month.

Ideally I’d like more traffic. More traffic would be wicked.

Online Presence Social

3 months ago I also started an X account. I got to 200 followers and 800 posts. I only used X for the first month. I’m finding it a bit difficult to keep up with everything I mean to be doing and do X.

X costs like $100 a year to sign up and subscribe. Which gets you a verified user identifying checkmark on X. It’s not $100 more than I’d have been alright with paying but to break even means I’d need another $100 on top (inside of a year).

You can schedule posts which might make it easier to work on it in batches. In the topic of Search Engine Optimization (for Organic and Natural) it’s not too easy to get a foot in.

You can also end up making money from the X ad sharing for accounts that do very well but that’s an objective way lower down on my list.

Social Butterfly? (Got a good topic?)

You might be a person who already has strong social profiles and you might be good and more better at accumulating your social content and online presence getting you way better results. Something like Ai art or funny cat pictures and videos could be just epic.

I believe I did the minimum you can do by trying and it’s not as demanding of you if you say have 1% of your visits to your website follow you on X. Then you still build a following and it’s a follower set you’d mean to go for because they found you.

Still cats and Ai art are good topics to get way more follows and visits and views and engagement.

I’m Having Fun But Made No Money

3 months into my website initial creation I’m not unhappy. I think it’s easy to be unhappy with no measures of success in terms of dollars. From my expertise and experience doing better isn’t much more likely and not doing better isn’t unbelievable either. If you get a month to three months into it you would still be liking what you’re doing and be unrealistic to think you’d stop.

Which is good.

I’m having fun and you’d have fun too. No money yet (I didn’t expect to) but it’s still worth going on.
