I’m going to tell you where I think it will progress to and why Natural SEO is the last step. But that doesn’t mean there are no more “updates” to Google SEO. But will they matter and will they “go” in the right direction for what I’m going to share with you and as they are likely to of have turned out.
Where we got to is really like where we came from making sense out of where we are going.
Now there is talk about “core” updates. Which are changes to the growth of what you might want to find or might want to see. Such as the shift from keyword stuffing to more like time on site for certain search patterns. Will it move to and will Ai be involved.?
This page of content is a supporting and related content to the page about Why Using Natural SEO Will Build A Strong Internet Entity. Where I start the topic off and establish the main idea. Read this page first then dive into the rest so you don’t miss anything.
I’ve seen some posts about talk about an Seo 1.0, Seo 1.5, and an Seo 2.0. I’m going to talk about Seo 2.5 Seo 3.0 and Natural SEO development and evolution which will seem continuous and be the end result.

Seo 1.0
SEO 1.0 is what all the veterans were used to. That’s full control and domains and reach and diversity. You could link from Web 2.0 properties and never have to worry about a thing. This was say was before 12 years ago (2013) by the latest. Really like (2006) all the way to the start of Search Engines.
Spam level hadn’t been invented yet but the idea of controlling your own link profile was frowned upon.
This is not Natural SEO.
Seo 1.5
Seo 1.5 started at and around about (2015) and didn’t go later than (2018). This is where Web 2.0 backlinks were almost devastating to be getting. The reputation of spammy ness played a big role. You could see and, here’s a tool that helps you check, https://checkpagerank.net/. How spammy a website is which is mostly based off of a Web 2.0 links detection and Web 2.0 style diversity harming your website’s integrity.
I actually bid $1 on this domain by accident and ended up winning it. Which I completely regret and won’t be using it for anything lineagefrees.com. Plus like $30 to keep it for a year which was included. And then it costs like the renewal fee for each year I’d keep it. 5/18 spam score. This is useless.
So it that example has no integrity meaning no one would want to use it.
You really had to look at what you were doing and make sure none of it wasn’t a good idea. No more manipulating the Search engine rankings. By the end of Seo 1.5 but you could still maybe use like a PBN. (Peanut Butter Network)
Seo 2.0
No More Web 2.0 Backlinking Strategies
Starting around (2020) and until now (2025). Ai started to show up on the internet and was birthing into and integrating into Google and our online world from then on. Ai reliance is heavy by 2025. 2025 and after is what we will focus on.
No More Web 2.0. Besides possibly a PBN which probably is really boring to need to use and costs resources. But it might be useful. And what a beautiful thing. We have to build our online existence without trying to cheat the system.
If a website is spammy somehow it doesn’t do as well and it loses it’s rankings.
While it’s not clear that Ai runs how Seo works as well as to make note that it’s still probably an algorithm.
When you were going to use Organic SEO which tends to cooperate with Web 2.0 backlinking strategies. (it does but it really shouldn’t). You can see a better description if Natural SEO if we don’t lose any of the techniques or principles. (Other than that you can’t control either). Then we can see that our effort is targeted to be what we’d call it and what we’d need. Organic is just the instant version of Natural and The Difference Between Organic SEO And Natural SEO is sort of based off of our intent and level of scam there’d seem to be.
Here’s Where It Gets Interesting
I will speculate. The interesting part is that because of how it used to work we’d rely on an algorithm. Which is a systematic way of weighing and deciding who ranks, how and where. Based off of something like someone with 20 links does better than someone with 10. This isn’t bad but you can have 10 links better than 20 sometimes (targeted anchors for the right search). And when it doesn’t work that way it’s a manner of systematic failure.
From my experience it actually worked that way. When you have 10 better links.. You win!
And it fits the Natural SEO description.
The algorithm version is basically manual (programmed and based on some kind of review process sometimes) and it intends to act as natural.

Seo 2.5 (not out yet. Starts 2026-2027)
Ai gets us to listen to why user experience and Ai review matter to describe why how it works and how you’d experience content and websites can be interpreted beyond some kind of algorithm. But probably only just.
You have to imagine that an algorithm determines a measurement but Ai determines a flow. And instead of a manual review process we might see that however they’ll do it will just work and replace an effort with a more automatic, more natural, and less like an algorithm. Ai is synthetic. But it might be relevant to and be good for describing the user experience.
You are measured on how useful you are and Ai can determine and replicate an understanding of what a user might interpret.
Seo 3.0 (not out yet. Starts 2028-2030 )
Synthetic compared to manual (intended to reflect nature) is natural and safe. Automatic compared to by review is productive. They can see how spammy a website is. They don’t come up with those numbers on their own. Ai may describe how to replace an algorithm. And your probably just thinking those are the same thing.
Automatic Synthetic decision making basically just means natural. Doing it good, doing it well. Google SEO; online; and the internet develop. There will be no cheating. and then we’ll call Seo 3.0 and onwards Natural SEO.

Natural SEO (Always True Anyway)
That’s how Natural SEO was born. An algorithm changes to a means to reflect in the search engine a means to reflect in nature how would describe what a person wants to see and what a person should expect to need and have it be delivered to them.
Based off of things like Ai interpretation, presuming if the user would see it the way the Ai would see it. But really it’s whether the Ai would see it the way the website visitor would see it.
When you can automate a measurement of appropriateness where it tends to describe our search engine results in nature there are no steps remaining. So we’d rely on Natural SEO to adapt to a simulation of our intentions making the decision to synthetically see what we can choose from by it’s interpretation.
And so there are no more Google SEO updates as this is how SEO became Natural SEO conceptually.
End of Page.
