Essentially for me to best work with the idea of Optimizing User Interface Design I’d have to admit I have to treat it like I’m optimizing the User Experience. I know there are lots of different blocks from gutenburg blocks you can choose from. There are plugins like elementor for wordpress and the general availability of carousels and other elements you can invite to your presentation, development, design, and execution.
I’d also recommend trying kadence blocks too. A plugin that let’s you use even more block choices. Why write about User Interface? And how could you know how to be Optimizing the User Interface?
Starting With An Example
My homepage for Ditto Effect 2 begins the navigation experience. My list of many posts which keeps on building. I designed it to be user friendly and aesthetically appealing by using simple text combined with visuals related to each post in my opinion.
The idea of making it easy to gather what was and took lots to write into groups called Content Repertoires, which are the skills and understandings you’d need to improve your capability to you from me. I’m not 100% sure to put the whole navigation all on one page but it seems pretty nice and very easy.
Sometimes you have to reorganize the order which could throw some people off. Generally it’s static cause I made it using blocks to create a sort of cards style grid that I could put posts one beside another in pairs of 2. I try to put the newer posts at the end.
I’m also going for authority niche resource for all the people who find it and are visitors. It feels good and it’s pretty to just endlessly list all my accomplishments (each post of content). And I even think it’s kind of fun to look through the list.
So think about trying the Simple Site Navigation Strategy.
Order Matters (posts and pages are different)
In my example I made the menu you get to look through but there are some blocks and plugins that will do it for posts in a similar way. Always I noticed that the posts are in the reverse order of when you created and what first. Posts put the newest first. This is annoying when you are trying to create a resource that holds a structure and if you are going to try and do it using posts.
I use pages. I love pages. I make pages instead of posts. So I created my own little version of the User Interface I have given. The content and navigation grow while staying static and easy to maintain.
Using posts is slightly different.
Level Of Appeal
If it’s easier and it looks better then it’s probably a good idea. You might just have to get into the gritty and see if you find it easy. Possibly checking bounce rates on pages where the bounce is higher and then working out something you can do differently. My example of having a lengthy homepage works out better as a tight navigation using pictures and text.
When you see other websites use the setup and you think it works well to get your attention just remember that’s probably one of the answers and a great answer for you to use.
Usually ecommerce websites have a slide reel to show you new products and new deals for features they advertise which change (by the season for example).
The only main thing to worry about is how easy it is to populate the chosen template to try it and see if it seems like a good idea. When you have a 6 page slide reel to get the full idea of what it feels like to test, if you test it on a page you keep private. Is to find it too difficult to try and test.
Optimal Useful And Helpful To The User Interface
There are a good number of ways to make it so what you are showing people is nice and easy and clean. The ultimate goal might be to design a better User Experience (UX) by improving the User Interface. Which would be what they see and what they can click as well as how the website works and flows.
Landing pages have to matter. There is a whole style that mostly avoid content and focuses; usually; on 3 featurettes at a time. Describing parts of what the website or service has to offer. This is also similar to types of landing pages. You’d have to be aware of how you’d want to use these strategies that your website builder might have 1 click buttons to build for you. (you’d come up with what it should be saying).
Helpful menus and useful technical observations with facts and guidelines as to what you are offering do make for making good impressions.
Actions Are A Good Thing
When you have more engagement you are doing it right. Changes you can test or make that let you improve have to likely be improving the User Interface and User Experience as long as they don’t spend more time on your website because it’s so confusing.
I’d only worry about making sure they take the right actions. Signing up for an email list or following on social media for example.
