It depends if you think you are doing Search Engine Optimization or not. The most useful suggestion is that if you do the keyword research and there are results you can get traffic for that keyword. When you make a content about a specific topic and it’s useful then people will correspond with it positively.
From my experience in the past 3 months I’ve determined that a page which exactly replicates or targets a keyword to have more chance by getting more impressions. Using breadcrumbs might be the smartest answer you can come up with. But is that SEO?
Exact URL Exact Title And Breadcrumbs
When you title a page with the keyword and when the URL of the page contains to search keyword you did research on you can see that pages which are exact do better. With the ideal being website.com/keyword-phrase it’s actually even better to come up with website.com/prepend/keyword-phrase. For example dittoeffect2.com/content-marketing/how-many-pages-do-i-need/ would be good for ‘Content Marketing How Many Pages Do I Need’ and ‘How Many Pages Do I Need’ as well as strengthening the Content Marketing crumb selection on it’s own. The Content Marketing page and category would be stronger. dittoeffect2.com/content-marketing would get stronger. That’s all I can say. I’m not 100% sure how to do it though. Update: I see, if you just use ‘parent’ pages it fixes it for you and makes it work. Also the creating the parent page you’d need to use is a very smart idea. If you have breadcrumbs is better. The links from your pages before you change them gets forwarded automatically.
Also get the Breadcrumbs exact URL too. eg. dittoeffect2.com/breadcrumbs/exact-urls-important-for-breadcrumbs/ to go for ‘Exact Urls Important For Breadcrumbs’ or dittoeffect2.com/seo/exact-urls-important-for-breadcrumbs/ to go for ‘Exact Urls Important For Breadcrumbs’ for any variation with SEO I believe. You’d have a content page about Breadcrumbs or SEO for this example.
Exact pages with exact titles where the search keyword has research where it does exist is somehow the best. It also seems like two pages is worth more than one. Similar topics need their own expression. That doesn’t mean you can’t do two targets for one page.
It’s probably better to do more pages always instead of combining them might be how it seems to have evolved. And they are more different when you do it with the right breadcrumbs prepend before hand too.
What About Not Listening To This Expert Advice
If you don’t do it exact; nothing identifies how to see it differently other than maybe the backlinks to a page. If you get the backlinks for the anchor you want. (which you can’t control without asking) then maybe the page will rank for the anchor text but to play it safe it makes no difference to optimize by choose the post title and url slug to be the keywords you’re going for.
This is what I’m going to do when I get the chance.
The Ideal Version And It’s Better
When you have ‘How To Get Traffic By Writing Content’ you also need to write a ‘Content Marketing’ parent page (which has more searches and isn’t what you’d do if you wouldn’t rank) (and you wouldn’t). But the fact that it’s a better keyword makes it good to go for as well. On their own they are weaker without each other. If you make the parent page you don’t know what will end up happening in an eventually. You can get traffic for both and doing both gets you more traffic anyway. Now you can maybe rank in the top 100 for ‘Content Marketing’ but you’ll most definitely rank better for ‘How To Get Traffic By Writing Content’ when there is no difference.
In fact you can think of it as not going for either if you don’t do both. And whatever happens is to your benefit and the success you’d get is to your benefit too.
Is Search Engine Optimization Worth It?
I’ve spent more than half the content word minimum just explaining that breadcrumbs and exact URLs and exact Titles are important. And with all the rest of what Search Engine Optimization has to offer is so much better all together. If you had 1000 pages you’d have to go through all of them to choose the parent pages. I only have like 50 so it will be easy.
It’s Neater It’s Nicer It Gets Better Results
Anything that helps give you structure helps you decide how you want to create the perfect experience for your user and your website. All while entertaining that you are working on your hobby and doing it the best you can. Having a better path is an improvement. Having a better plan does better.
Will You Get More Backlinks From Reading This Content?
Yes absolutely. Your answer is to create better content with a better structure where the nature of aggregating a backlink profile is only to your benefit. The links you need are easier to get the more appealing it is and the stronger it applies in (nature?) on the (internet).
Better plans, better setup, better content. All given you driven more and prone more to more success. The cleaner your pages the more they will be good as how they look and seem and feel. If it made it messier we probably wouldn’t do it.
I changed a few of my pages. I had Guest Posting to boost your natural seo and when. But if nobody searches it (you’ll know from your keyword research) then it’s worse than not creating a page to go for the idea. And correcting it is more important and better. Besides if you need it for the User Experience. In my case on it’s own I believe it’s clearer as to what anchor text to link with.
Tighten it up and promote stronger structures as much as you can along with how you’d expect the User to engage with, interact with, and participate.
