Choose An Interesting Niche With Low Competition That You Will Like

You want to be interested. You want to be motivated. You want to be inspired. You need to be good at it already. You can learn and get better as you go along. But choosing something competitive that you want to become an expert at while you grow over time just isn’t what to do. You can be an amateur in a low competition niche and have it turn out.

Know It Like You Mean It

I chose a topic I needed to be good at. (I have years of experience with SEO). It’s a really hard topic though. Hard to rank and usually difficult to write about to mean to compare. But I don’t own a turtle and I don’t have more interest in succeeding in a topic about cats. I’d play with my cats with their toys and brush them in ways they like. And hopefully someday maybe come up with a toy or a brush I designed specifically.

You might know how to get a turtle to live for twice as long. But I don’t. I know websites and I know SEO.

Know When You Stop But Don’t

I’m a month into it, giving it most of all I’ve got. Some SEO and Google and rankings can take months or at least weeks to see real changes. So looking at it after a month means too little. But looking at it after a month means a lot. I spent a long time writing my 30 content posts I have by now. I don’t get any visitors yet. If it took 6 months for example to see how ‘well’ you’ve done from the work you did earlier before then you can’t tell if you needed 20 posts or 40 or 100. In case you needed to pick a sign to mean to stop.

If you write 40 posts you may just like it and be happy. In high competition you might get nowhere. In low competition it might take 6 months including the 40 posts to see where you might start to end up. But if you need 60 posts before you can tell how well you can do from the work you’ve done, it would still take like 2 months (at the minimum) to create and post. Then to get to like 6 months or more to see how well you’d do.

How Long Till You Can Expect The Results

It’s easy to say that if you were going to make 30 posts over say 3 months, you’d have to strap in and know that maybe you’d get no result just the same as me after 1 month. Being motivated is key. Knowing most of what you are doing is key. Writing a website about SEO isn’t your right choice maybe probably. So the best chance is to choose something you like where you can get to 3 months into it to 6 months to see if you want to keep doing it ‘forever’. The idea that you need to get more than a month into your hobby might be grueling for some people.

So just watch out and stay motivated.

Stay Motivated Is Key And Dedication Is Hot

You need to be really successful to make a difference won’t be a problem if working more is the thing, the right thing to do that get’s you there and has to be the right thing. Technically you need stuff like backlinks and maybe using the Content Marketing Strategy Framework where the goal is to get to 100 posts. If it really doesn’t matter then all you need is the time to get you there.

Will You Even Make Money Or Break Even

For me I had to pay for hosting costs and to pay for a theme and I haven’t made any money so (I’m out some?). And I don’t even have a way to make money yet. So you probably can’t just start a month ago and be breaking even by today. “Where there is a slight exception noting that your real life could suggestibly make it easier with word of mouth or online where you’ve met some kind of trend or mini opportunity where people need to buy your turtle snacks or your turtle warmers or your turtle environment custom painted rocks that motivate turtles to live happier.” Like a sensation and a sensation, or like an instant hit.

There Is Such A Thing As An Instant Hit

Some ideas are really good and don’t just do well. They actually just do well and when you know people you know would pay there’s nothing stopping them and then others from joining in if you get a little entropy that gets you to already successful shortly after.

So don’t expect that starting from nowhere will go anywhere but do remember it’s easy to conceive and easily possible if (essentially) people are basically asking you to perform your tasks that make you the sales. (ie done 30 turtle happiness rocks) and have 20 orders already pending.

Implement Based On Expertise And Real Expectations

The idea that if you hand picked rocks as an expert connoisseur instead of paying $20 per rock from some kind of smooth rock distributor you’d cut out $20 of cost for each rock which would sell more rocks with higher margins. And It’s harder to sell rocks for $20 more per rock because you ‘didn’t want to go out and collect rocks yourself’ even though you might be really good at it.

Highly Recommended Hobby And Pursuit

I’d recommend to do the version with or without friends to commit yourself to pursing a goal or hobby or dream. But mostly only if you know the topic, know the competition is relatively low, and aren’t basing whether or not you’d do it unless in 3 to 12 months you are successful.

Why Less Competition Is Better

Naturally a higher difficulty set of keywords or niche topics is less recommended if you need to be really picky about being the next top, top, or only top expert. And of course how shouldn’t that be obvious. Stronger competition is less likely to do well compared to less competition. So it makes sense to me.

Easy Commitment And Easy Consistency

The best effort comes from having no next to expectation of what your results will be. Or no expectation. Making a successful website isn’t as easy as it used to be so you’ve got to get the guts of the thing starting from your whatever level your at corner.

That doesn’t mean it isn’t fun and it doesn’t mean it isn’t motivating.

So choose a niche that has low competition which is a niche you think you’d like.

I like what I’m doing (even though it might turn out to be a bit harder) and I hope you’ll like what you’re doing too.
