Backlinks are the backlinks you’ll have wanted. You need techniques and strategies to get your backlinks. Which I have listed in the Backlinks menu page. The more and better the backlinks you get the better you will rank on search engines and the better your SERPs.
There are a number of approaches you can work with depending on how strongly you perform in various areas. Social sharing improves backlinks when an admiring webmaster companion likes what they see and links to you. Webmaster audiences as a portion of your traffic source have the power to use their vote in your favor. Things like Guest Posting or collab efforts boost referral traffic.
Any person with a mouth and/or social profile can help support you while you wish and dream that some of the people who end up seeing are enthusiastic webmasters.

Build Your Social Profile
Starting from scratch doesn’t mean you have nowhere to go. You can get followers if you try or know how or are really good at it. The more targeted your followers the better the result will be. If you go for follow for follow you might be less likely to convert for support than if you only post in webmaster heavy communities on social.
Optimize your profile to see that sometimes people will follow you by chance. But of course because you had an appealing profile to attract them. Complete your objectives better by growing and earning the trust and respect of other social media users.
There is an avalanche principle where at certain points you get more impressions based off of how much better you’re doing as you learn. The more followers you have the more followers you will get.
Doing cold approaches on perfect profiles can help too. You find someone who has ‘webmasterstuff.com’ as their website link to your ‘webmasterthings.com’ and try to appeal to them with a direct message (DM).
Sometimes it feels like doing Social Profiles isn’t fun or appealing. That’s the category I’m in. When the result isn’t exactly worth the effort. (I’m not even selling anything yet). And when it matters that being good doesn’t reflect in a social profile for example. My advice might be epic but you probably don’t just know what page of mine you’ll find it on.
I don’t know either.
We just want our work to stand out (uh to where?) and have it be picked up by the higher power that is the online companion of the internet and webmasters mostly.
Harness Your Traffic
Specifically The Webmaster Audience
When you have an audience. Either traffic or an audience. When you have an audience. When you have continuous ongoing traffic you have the power to influence your visitors and their response. If you are really clever like I try to be really clever you might find the chance to do a call to action. Really get something about ourselves (in my case Webmasters because I write Natural SEO) and call to action that support is important and needed.
I have a Contact Us page where you can let me know you gave me a backlink then I can follow up with you and see if maybe I can link to you from one of my pages. I know you are a webmaster if you show me a link to your page with a link to my page.
We can bond, we can follow each other on X. We can be happy and be friends and companions. I always say webmaster companions as allies. Because we have the power to amuse and excite ourselves off of what it is and what it’s doing. I can add you to my following and help you out for you and your following too.
The call to action is just about leaning in with the picture of the homeless person holding a sign that says “Can I Get A Backlink”. And then there is also a secret page I link to to push it home.
External Backlinks
Guest Posts And Outreach
I have a theory that Guest Post opportunities aren’t as large in number as you’d need them. You also have to be mega persistent as a writer and outreach applicant to mean to do. You might need more than 20 backlinks to do alright for your topic. But writing those 20 pages for other websites could take months. The work is a lot. But you might already be doing the same kind of thing for your website.
When you need to do the work and it’s easy it’s just a process. But you have to remember that if you run out of opportunities before you see what and how much it gets you you might find yourself disappointed to just barely miss your target (maybe 1st on Google?). Writing pages and getting them posted matters less when you can’t do it enough.
The work is a lot. To write 20 content pieces for other websites is just a starting point. But not being able to write more than 20 in total ends the conquest to mean well and do promote. I’d lean more towards working for pages you put on your website and seeing where you can get to.

Friends and communities and companions can help. Finding more helps. Growing a circle of people helps. Working with me would probably help. Working with each other would probably help.
There’s also Niche Edits if you can get them. But it’s likely you’ll need outreach to mean to achieve and achieve better but truly if there’s no complete guide you can follow to go from starting out and building lets say 100+ content pieces. And then to go to page 1 (first 10 SERPs) then there’s not much of a way you can convince yourself that that’s what would happen.
When there is no complete guide you’d sketch out to see how to go from where you are to where you need to get to from then following a path which might not be completed isn’t inspiring for the overall goal.
When we do have a plan to pursue our hobby regardless then if we got there then we’d celebrate at the efforts we made to make and do so.
At least not giving up (no matter if you choose; like “I’ll do guest posts”; however you’d choose you’d do it.) Has to be worth it and a great idea. Doing what we planned to shouldn’t get thrown out by not being able to do it better other than that if we couldn’t do it at all.
