Technically any effort you can make results in Natural SEO unless you are cheating. But advertising traffic can’t be cheating. I mean as long as you don’t call it buying links (which isn’t what buying advertising means). Advertising include creating and running ad campaigns.
There are multiple platforms and possibly very many opportunities you can access for online advertising. You have to remember it costs you money and you have to pay. Facebook and X are good platforms for advertising for beginners. I don’t recommend Google Ads if you’re just playing around. Also if you don’t have much established for what you want them to see and where you’re sending them.

Cheap And Easy To Run Tests
Where to get advertising varies per person and platform. Results vary based on your resources and your ability. X ads are really easy and a really good place to start. You might only be using X to focus on your internet presence and online following. Playing around with it only costs around $10 to $20 or so because you can stop your ad project before it’s run through completely.
I’m testing X ads for promoting posts. To see if anything happens. What my setup was. And to track what I get for how much I pay. Which you can’t really recommend to someone who doesn’t mean well about their own stuff. Engagement might just get likes and follow if you don’t have a goal.
[Here I’ll write about facebook ads if I get the chance to try them..] Possibly only costs $5 a day for low budget.
Organic traffic is different and essentially most valuable. Where the idea is through your content and reach as an internet entity you can develop an audience which generally you can rely on and is consistent. Other than when your ranking changes.
The most useful part is when your advertising boosts your online profile. Getting a stronger following might be as important as getting a sale. You spread brand awareness when people respond and see. This is limited by how useful you are and what exactly you are offering.
Advanced Advertising Would Include Youtube Video Advertising
You want to be able to choose, make for, and afford Youtube video advertising. You’ll see endlessly many advertisements on Youtube which have a big impact on your brand and it’s easy to bond with when you relate.
Second Choice After Youtube Is Google Ads
These ads may be more or less expensive depending on your niche. A money relevant niche is likely to be more expensive. Something like pet care or dating may be cheaper.

The Main Idea (Don’t Do Ads To Gain Followers)
You want to have an impact somehow and the simple choices (X and Facebook) lets you test simple attempts to see how much engagement you can get or if you can get website visits. Naturally if you manage to grow interest and engagement your chosen “advertisement” may enhance your result but won’t be consistent.
Anything you can mean to do where you can pay for for advertising you should be able to do for free by posting regularly and/or using hashtags.
Don’t Have A Product?
Mostly don’t do advertising without a funnel or sales page or chance for conversion. A mailing list is good to have set up. When you do get clicks or follow-throughs and you’re able to send them somewhere that lets you retain your visits to improve and gain more reach.
Just Testing To Start The Learning Process?
Like I said, you can spend like $10-$20 on X advertising and I also read that Facebook advertising can work on a budget as low as $5 a day.
Promote a post on X is kind of fun. The reach campaign advertisement option offered about 1000 impressions for about $1 thousand. But when I tried something mostly generic I ended up with 0.2% engagement. Which isn’t good enough and I’m sure did almost nothing. For like $10.
I’d be happy to see if I could improve and do better. And I’m sure you would be happy if you can improve and do better.
Recommendations
Not to promote a post unless you have way extra budget money to play around. Or as an advertising beginner you want to see your impact or potential.
Obviously and mostly would be to aim for higher than 0.2% engagement (which probably just means the post is inconvenient). Then to see that you’re attempt or idea could do better. And if you don’t then you shouldn’t of tried it and it likely wouldn’t work out to use the strategy you were using.
Build With Revolution Torque
Starting advertising for beginners might be the only way to teach yourself and make progress. That doesn’t mean fine tuning the ideas or choosing a better platform will work isn’t true.
The most important thing you can do is measure and have steps less than converting that means you can torque one revolution to have been retaining, or building potential customers for the future. Email list or getting followers with a profile that talks about the things you were looking for. When you are not converting.
And don’t spend money to get a following instead of email list building. And mostly a following from promote ads doesn’t mean as much as when you do it Naturally. With your Natural SEO than with advertising. It sort of mucks it up and changes the authenticity.
Doing Better Than Breaking Even
You won’t convert unless you’ve actually already converted like 10 times. Unless you already know some traffic equals some conversions. So don’t expect to break even. You’d need to do well.
If your product does well then see if you can make more than you spend on advertising by getting more people. That’s the whole idea behind advertising.
And like I did, I didn’t have an end goal. I was just testing it so I could tell you about it incase you wanted to try.
